On November 15, 2013 a conference on volunteerism titled «Voluntcerism as a platform for community mobilization of Kyiv region» was held in the conference room of the Kyiv Oblast Administration. When researchers talk about the Holodomor of 1932-1933 year, it means the period from April 1932 till November 1933. In Ukraine killed millions of people during those 17 months that is approximately for 500 days. In spring 1933 it was a stress period of Holodomor. At that time from Holodomor died 
«Я в твоєму імені живу» – під таким гаслом 20 лютого у Великій концертній студії Будинку звукозапису НРКУ відбувся концерт-телезйомка у рамках спільного проекту НРКУ та НТКУ «Мистецькі історії»,присвячений 80-річчю від дня народження Василя Симоненка.
